Hey guys, I was at a pawn shop a couple weeks ago and I saw a 35 year old Fender Acoustic. It's pretty banged up and the truss rod cover is missing. Plays nice and they are selling it for 250 dollars. Just wondering, how much is do you guys think it's worth? Should I get it or should I pass? :?

It's only $250. If you've got it to spare, go for it. Why not? It's vintage.

Vintage isn't always about the value, it's about the vibe.

I know but the new price is 1500$, so I'm wondering how much of a rip they will get.

New is $1500? I didn't know Fender even made acoustics that expensive. You say it's playable, you seem to like it. Might as well scarf it up.

It's 1500 with tax. It was $1199.99 alone without tax.

What model is that then? It's a model they've been making for 35 years?

By the way, it's very relic. There is no more finish on the guitar. I think I won't go for it. Just got 2 new guitars 2 days ago (Strat Deluxeand Tele Deluxe). I will let it pass...
