I'm going to this guy's clinic on the 5th of October, I'm not a bass player, but I think it might be interesting.

Dude he grew up near my hometown and played in Erie all of the time back in the day. Just ask him about Erie, PA. and how many times he was in a holding cell here. He'll laugh his a!s off I can guarantee you that. Anyway I consider him one of the BEST bass players EVER in the world and you'll see what I mean once you see him jam out up close. Have fun bro and take in everything that he has to offer as it WILL make you a better player. :D

I saw Billy Sheehan at a clinic in TX about 9 years ago. He blew me away with his technique. He was a totally friendly and down-to-earth guy too. I asked him a question about why he decided on being a bass player and it led him to tell a great story and do some cool jamming. A great guy!

Cool Snowy my brother! BTW his band that he was in when they were playing around here all the time was called "Tallas" (not sure if that's the correct spelling, but it's been a long time). "Erie County Holding Cell" should've been one of their songs  . Have a blast man! He is a VERY cool dude a really down to earth so you can joke around with him and it's all good. I'm sure that he still likes to party and let loose so watch out if there's an after session thing going on...

I had seen his band Talas a very long ago (before David Lee Roth) in a small club outside of Baltimore...it was awesome.

Talas was a great group. I was playing in bands in the same area at the time. It was hard to compete with them.
