Welcome to the Forum.

You might also try placing ads in your local music stores and on your local Craigslist.

What Chet said, you'd probably get more hits that way, plus it's easier to get local people to try out.

Try putting up an ad in the paper or at your local music store. Trust me, that'll be a better help than trying to recruit people here. :)

I believe that putting up ads in your local store is probably the best way to find what you're looking for unless you're like myself and just too far advanced for the people in your area. I tried Bandmix.com, but everyone there uses it as more of a forum and such so there aren't too many band hookups going on like the site administrators would lead you to think. I wish you well in your search and hope that you find what you're looking for. If you play Blues, Country, or Classic Rock, then you may find something there, but as far as ANY type of metal goes...it seems that they don't want to have to try that hard.

Oh yeah...What type of music are you into anyway? I don't believe that I saw that anywhere.
