I have to say both. Fender for clean & overdrive, and Marshall for distortion. I'm not very big into effect pedals.

I would have to say Vox my AC30 is the best amp I have. I also like Budda amps but they are a lot of money I am currently getting rid of one thats 30watts to get the 18watt version. Also you cant forget Roland for the money there Cube amps are great I enjoy my Cube30X and my Son's Micro Cube.
1 Vox (Great Amps)
2 Budda ( Great Amps Cost alot)
3 Roland ( Good Amps at good Price)
4 Fender (Both Great amps and Cheap you spend you get Great)
5 Peavey? Crate? (I could not decide they both have Good and Cheap)

There are a lot of other great amps out there that I did not concider because I have not owned them and played enough like Orange, Bogner,Soldano, Gretsch

Whatever amp that works and is loud is my favorite brand...set all the knobs till they point to the right, and then kill ear drums...

I don't like A (or a specific) modern amp company, I like specific amps. Judging from what I have around me, the Brownface/Blackface Fender era is my fave. As far as WHICH is my favorite, it depends on my mood. If I want something a little different than a old Fender, I'll pull out my old Marshall 'Custom/Jubilee' 25/50 watt combo.

I once had a Vox AC-30 Korg/Marshall made combo. It was a OK amp but it didn't suit me. Plus it ran HOT--it didn't blow up, I just don't like amps that run hotter than a hair dryer at max power!

Right now, I've got my heart set on this nice little Marshall tube amp. Nice little booger, hopefully I'll be able to get it. Still need to try out the clean settings on it though at the shop...an amp is nothing without a good clean setting.

I didnt vote as I play both Fender and Marshall - I have a JCM 900 that I wouldnt ever part with - that head has some serious balls to it!! Amazing tone!!

You cant beat the clean tone of a Fender though!!

I want to get a Deluxe Reverb - thats one of the only amps ive never owned, but always wanted to

With all the quality amplifiers out there, how the hell did Line 6 get put into this poll? lol

I wouldnt use a line 6 to anchor my john-boat!!

I chose Line 6 because it was an available selection in the above poll. That is, I am not at all anti-Fender or Marshall as they both make nice stuff for sure. But, for me, I am deeply impressed by the sound, functionality, and affordability of my Line 6 head. It has so much useful functionality and T-O-N-E, it amazes me often.

you must not have a sense of tone or have never played through a great tube amp because I can get a better tone out of a yamaha amp then a line 6. They are the biggest rip of all time
