guitar related its the old playing drunk stupidity. The band started the set with a crashing E chord then blast through the first 5 songs. I decided to windmill the chord, missed, fell face first onto the stage floor, broke my nose, got up said 'can we do that again lads?.....hic' and played the rest of the gig with blood gushing from my nostrils. very punk  the audience actually liked it though and it sobered me up enough to play the gig to a decent standard.

acts of stupidity in my personal life are far too numerous and embarrassing to mention here

Drank heavily, among other things, for over 20 years. I honestly have no idea what the most embarrassing thing I've done is. I'd have to call some old friends to find out.

Musically...likely not starting lessons when they could have first been afforded and really having developed practice and reading discipline.

No Eddie, When I started out, right back in the first gigs I did, I was embarrased just walking on to a stage. But as the years pass, all that kind of thing falls away. Have you been playing long Eddie?

It's been 28 years for me. Yeah, I guess you could say that.

I missed a new episode of HOUSE.
Both dumb and tragic for someone like me.

Got married?

Nah, cant really say that- my beautiful son came from that marriage!

Umm, When I got married, I sold off 95% of my gear, I regret that big time - I only kept 2 Strats, sold 8 of them and my tele - would love to have them all back!

Dumbest thing I've done?...

Well, I asked this girl out last year...that alone was a mistake...

Or last year when I agreed to take Algebra 2.

From "The Wit & Wisdon of StratmanSteve" . . .

I once had a theory that if men wrote down the 10 dumbbest things they'd ever done, 7 out of 10 would be women-related (attracting, impressing, winning them), or alcohol-related (nuff said), and probably a few of them were both.

As I sit back and review my life I fear I may have accumulated a perfect 10 of 10.

Yeah. It's been many years, but it seems as if I've done too much. How long have you been playing Rhumba?

I've been playing since 1963 so that makes it 45 years, plenty of tmes to do a lot of dumb things but I never get upset about them. Better to just laugh them off, don't you agree ?
