Hey Slide3,

Don't you listen to any other bands? Yes, the GooGoo Dolls are great, but there is so much more to be had.

i don't really like my chemical romance... i don't mind the music so much, the guitarist is decent, i just never really got into their music enough for me to listen to them on a regular basis

Just checked them out. Sounds good, but not my style to listen to on a regular basis... to each is own. We all love our favorite bands.

mainly i like my chem because they do all of their own stuff and it's not remotely like anything anyone else is doing... you can't really say that about some of the newer acts that are out today... then again, nothing beats classics like Skynyrd or ZZ Top

^ i know what you mean.... i like bands who are original... i don't like too many unoriginal bands (neweer anyways) maybe a bit of wolfmother, but they rock pretty hard, so they're alright... thats why i like muse, listen to some of their less mainstream songs, it sounds like nothing thats ever really been done before

you know, something kind of pissed me off the other day... i was hanging out with my friends at this retreat that i was giving and one of the guys that i was giving it to told me that i should pack up my guitar and go home because there was obviously no point in a woman ever picking up a guitar because we could never have as much talent as a man. if it wouldn't have been for the facts that it was a religious setting and i only own one guitar, i think i might have broken it over his head... little punk. what do you think?

^ i see no problem with girls playing guitar... there have been some great women guitarists who were most likely better than him... just shrug it off, he probably only picks us a guitar to get girls (which is stupid, it should be for fun and enjoyment) and he may feel that any girl who could play may be better than him and his ego couldn't handle it  just a thought
