Does anyone know where I can purchase the silver dot that covers the tremelo hole? Also, where can I buy another leather strap, exactly like the one that came with my 57 vintage? Serious questions-this is not only my first Fender, it's my first guitar! Help, please! :D

Silver dot that covers the tremolo hole? What? But then again, I haven't used a trem in years...as far as the strap, MusiciansFriend.com may be a good place to start, eBay is also a great resource for Fender parts and accessories.

If I'm not mistaken, the silver dot is just a small silver foil sticker.

You should be able to find the sticker thing at places like Wal-Mart in the stationary section.

The strap is probably in the Fender Store.

The sticker over the tremolo hole only serves to keep the spring from falling out.

If you don't use the tremolo arm simply take out the spring, put in in a plastic baggie or envelope, and store it in your case.

Personally I have never bothered with the spring. I like my tremolo arm to swing freely.

But you can buy the little tremolo springs in bulk for cheap so you don't have to worry too much about them.
