None.

'Am enamoured of the sound of an unadulterated signal from a fine guitar into an equally fine amp.

The other seems like (musically) eating spoiled food, driving with dirty vehicle windows or wearing soiled clothes.

Notice it doesn't have a tone control - why would you need a tone control on a decent overdive? It's sole job is to overdrive your signal, which the 250 does expertly!

Warm, melting, controllable niceness!

Amen!

I have about 13 years of dirt accumulated on my '67 Ghia and she's still beautiful to me! 8)

I use the Boss OS-2. It's two pedals in one. Overdrive AND distortion. You can set it for either, or mix the two. Has a dial control that mixes both Overdrive and distortion............or you can just go plain overdrive or distortion.

i have a 65 watt crate amp. the distortion channels arent any good so i like to use digitech pedals. i have a bunch including Hot Rod, Metal Master, Distortion Factory, Expression Factory, and my dad has an RP500 which is pretty cool. i play through those pedals with my epiphone sg with gibson pickups and it just sounds great!

I just bought the Fulltone GT-500. The thing is the freaking thing. LOL.
I traded a Boss DS-1 distortion, SD-1 Super OverDrive, and SC-3 Sustainer Compressor and a hundred bucks. I couldn't have been happier. Boost with tone,Distortion with tone, Compression with (what?) tone. Oh did I mention the thing is the freaking thing!! It's a monster tone thing!!! Realy though, it's a very cool pedal, tubie (word?) sound. I like it.
Peace. J.J.B.

My old $@!, beat up DOD overdrive preamp 250. Delicious, crude and crunchy.

The DOD 250 is a popular one here, quite an acheivement in a world of Tube Screamer obsessed sheep!!!

For a bit of a change the other day I cracked out my cheap as chips Danelectro FAB overdrive...That's one crazy horse of a pedal!

Transparent classy overdrive? Forget about it! This thing robs all your original tone, boosts your harmonics, rolls off the highs, humps the mids, and puts a big smile on your face!

This thing leaves your classy setup feeling cheap, soiled, and used!

Dirty!
