P.S. I just started wearing my Fender Lounge T-$@!& and I'm getting compliments everywhere, on how good it looks.

Brad.....guess you might have a potential money maker here, once the word gets out.

That was supposed to say T-shirt and not all those signs like a cuss work. Wonder what happened.

I build movie sets and have since 1980 - yeah, I'm that old! Before that I built houses. Favourite song? "If I were a carpenter."

Work delivering the mail for the US Postal Service aka the mailman. It's not as easy as a lot of people think!

I don't think anyone thinks it's easy to be a mail carrier. Especially in urban area(s), and/or Christmas time.

As I have plenty of spare time these days, I've decided to take a guitar tech course. I'm really looking forward to it, it starts in March. Who knows.. it may lead to something in the future, that's the idea anyway. I currently pay about £40 to have a guitar set up, if nothing else I'll save myself some money.

You can add me to the list. I was a police officer in the San Francisco Bay Area for 29 years. Retired now, and enjoying the heck out of it.

There are people I've known for a long time that have said to me how hard can it be? All you do is sit and drive a truck all day throwing mail at boxes. Hence my comment about folks thinking it's easy.

Then apparently they don't know the reason why the phrase "going postal" was coined. I am sure there is some hard work and stress involved..as well as with many other jobs. There are plenty of things that seem easy to do..until you actually do it.

Glad to hear you're enjoying retirement and everything is going well. I have 14 months, 9 days, 4 hours and 7 minutes to go.

Yes the stress is unbelievable. You can have 2500+ pieces of mail and you're expected to finish at the same time as if you have half this amount. Plus the office that I work out of has had some retire and quit in the last month so we're short on help which we were already short-handed before anyone left for good. That means we have to split some routes which means more work which means that much more stress. :?
