Answer and explain.

If Jesus played an instrument, He would play a.....

...Fender P-bass, probably a black and maple one too.
I picture Jesus playing a P-bass slung low like Nikki Sixx while belting out some solid lyrics like Lemmy Kilmister.

I don't see Jesus playing anything electric. I see Jesus playing a beat up old Martin 000.

I see him more as a vocalist, maybe covering songs like the Doobie Brothers' "I'm Just Alright"... :o

i think he'd play a trumpet.

seen man'o'war and motorhead neither came close to a orchestra for hitting you in the chest.

or maybe he'd play xylophone like patrick moore.

Then Jesus Struck a loud note from his Stratocaster, and he did bend it to the Heavens. The Skies opened, and God Spoke out of Thunder saying, "Jesus, Turn Down That Damn Noise!"

... and then jesus said... "what, i can't hear you?"

"Really? Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww this feedback is really annoying... hey Paul, can you turn down the speakers ove r there i am still getting a hisss

"Oh, now my crybaby's getting some radio! No, it's definitely a worn out cable... yeah, and this strat is like... what... pre cbs? Yeah It looks like it needs some work... ... okay, how about this, i turned down the amp to 4 and it still feels like its getting a lot of feedback... no... that's the angel choir."

ANd so, in thy purest, most true form of the sound that brings life, the classic stage problems had been born here on this fateful day in Jerusalem... and shall be remembered by all throughout eternity.

Imagine if the bible was screwed up like that...

ANd jesus definitely played a sunburst (3 tone) with maple fretboard... through a fender bassman :)

Hmm. Interesting query.

Jesus of Nazareth was a challenger of the establishment and status quo, for sure. And lest ye forget, His first public miracle was changing water to wine for a host who ran low at a wedding.

But He used historical references as well as parable in His teachings. Two different styles, a la two styles of guitars?

Thinking both an old Martin 000 and a well-used sunburst Stat or cherry SG, through a 59 Bassman.

Trumpet, no way.
