Got rid of a 81 tokai breezysound when i was a kid. Got rid of everything to pay for my wedding to my first wife.
Both instances haunt me incessantly

My Champ 30 Amp. Little bastard, but packed a nice punch.

My first guitar -- a 1979 Music Man Sabre six string electric. It was a fine playing beauty. Even my Telecaster Deluxe doesn't play as clean as that guitar did, with great sustain ... and the Sabre had humbuckers! I stupidly traded it for a cheap bass guitar to land a spot in a band I liked. Hindsight, man.

Don't ask me if I regret BUYING any guitar gear. The list of stuff I wasted thousands of dollars on is endless. There's a lot of junk out there.

I had a blue Squier Strat back in High School that I sold to get an acoustic guitar (which was stolen in college) that I absolutely loved. I really miss that guitar and am hoping that when I get my next bass I can get a nice blue one to replace it.

I'm glad I don't drink like I did in the Navy too. That was some serious, hardcore drinking.

I sold a Danelectro 12 string electric. I rarely played it but I wished I would have kept it. Oh well. :)

A 1972 Gibson SG and a 1968 goldtop LP. Oh and a late 1960s/early 1970s Univox tube piggyback amp.

(But, perhaps some people would like to share their loss!)

'93 Telecaster-Plus: natural finish; maple neck, med-jumbo frets, white pickguard; Lace Sensors with black covers: Blue at the neck; Red Dually's at the bridge; one small cigarette burn ding on the back...purchased used at Sam Ash in Flatbush Bklyn for $300. Not country....but a kicking rock and roller. Traded up for a used Clapton in near mint condition. Don't particularly care for Teles to play, but this had a great neck, awesome sound, and was a beautiful instrument in its own right.

'97 EC 'Blackie' purchased used for $800; near mint...traded up for a Custom Shop team built Stratocaster.

Night ya'll!!

Mine isn't all that irreplacable, but I went through an all acoustic phase where I traded a MIM tele for a decent 12 string acoustic. The 12 string was nice, but I realized pretty quickly that I had ripped myself off. Luckily I was able to swap the 12 string out for my strat (which is way better than the tele ever was).

Although there are times I miss each of the guitars I've sold, the one that bugs me is a Ric 430 I had in the '80's. They were sorta a budget model, but made in the USA like all Rics; had some small problems (can't even remember what) that probably could've been rememdied by set-up type work, but back then I didn't know anything about adjusting guitars.

So I sold it. It was one of a series of bolt-neck Rics designed by an ex-Fender guy, almost never see them any more.

To my left, the all-black, in the pic below:

Sunn Concert Bass head with a 2 X 15 reflex bottom.

I miss it terribly.

I definitely regret selling my Twin Reverb II. It was incredibly loud and heavy, which is why I sold it at the time. Oh well...

I really miss my Gibson Goldtone RVS. That was a great tube amp.
