I have a Waylon Jennings Custom shop guitar.. It was my late husbands. He had a very short time before Waylon died, when he did, he put it up and did not play it again. I have a certificate of Authenticity. I have really been trying to find out some information on it. If any one knows where I may look.. I could use the help

I replied to this when you posted it in the CS forum. You really shouldn't double post, it's not a good habit to get into and one of your threads will probably get locked. Just sayin'...

You can run the serial number on this site and others; but that will tell you what year the neck (not nessesarily the body) was made.
If you want to know the guitar's worth check ebay or craigslist for current prices. You can find appraisers with an on line search.

I am afraid the guitar well get ruined.. I have it stored in the case and very rarely get it out. My husband died 2 years ago and this was his favorite.. can you tell me what I should do to keep it in good shape.

There are instructions on this site for care; look in the owner's manual here on line.
Store it in the case with loose or removed strings with some humidity absorbent available from wal mart.
Mothers makes a guitar care kit that Fender touts these days; check it out here or at Mothers wb site.
Check your keepsake from time to time for condition and re-apply the care products from mothers.

Besides what everyone else said, you should learn to play it. He will be smiling down on you even more.

Yeah. That would be a great honor to him I think!
