One word. Astounding. This is one of the best albums that I have heard in a while, and I high'y reccomend it to anyone. His solo work is only a slight reflection of his father, but you can definitely tell that it's there. 8)

I luckily had the chance to see him live and it was a magnificent show.

I caught him on Woodsongs, and it prompted me to buy the album. Will It Grow and This End of the Telescope just blew me away.

Thanks for the heads up.

I was (VERY) lucky enough to see him with the Wallflowers open for his Dad at a private corporate event (back when my company would do such things). Supposedly it was the only time they shared the bill together.

If you're referring to "Seeing Things", I agree. All of the tracks that I've heard sound mighty fine.

Well this is very good news for me since the producer we are supposed to be working with soon produced their first recording..not sure if it's the same guy that did this new one , I haven't met him yet to ask but our singer has. He is currently working with Fiona Apple as far as I know on a new release and has an impressive resume.

I'll keep you posted when I find out more info.

So, I actually wound up getting to meet Jakob last year.....he came back to Lexington for Woodsongs again and we caught him out back afterwards. Signed my copy of his newest album and shook hands and asked him to listen to my music. Pretty dang cool, right?

Saw him on TV in concert but not with the Wall Flowers a few months ago and do not know when it was recorded but all the material was strong.

Are you referring to Seeing Things or Women and Country? 'Cause both of which are amazing albums
