Hello,

This is where people just tell the songs they adore to play on the Guitar. I want to know;

1~ What band sung the song?

2~ What is the song title?

3~ What do you like about the song? Why?

4~ Anything else interesting you would like to add about why?

5~ Do you listen and play at the same time?

6~ What guitar do you play on? (Brand name [Example: Fender], guitar type name [Example: Stratocaster])

Thanks ahead of time,
~ Royalty

i'll pick two i enjoy playing

1~ What band sung the song? Cream

2~ What is the song title? White Room

3~ What do you like about the song? Why? Good rhythm and fun to play along with... then deploy the wah for the solo and just jam around in key, i don't really even play the solo, i just mess around with it

4~ Anything else interesting you would like to add about why? Clapton really has a great, crunchy tone in the solo parts of the song that i love

5~ Do you listen and play at the same time? yep, i play along with a lot of clapton songs every once in a while

6~ What guitar do you play on? (Brand name [Example: Fender], guitar type name [Example: Stratocaster]) usually the Fender Deluxe Players Strat

--------

1~ What band sung the song? Muse

2~ What is the song title? Plug in Baby

3~ What do you like about the song? Why? The main riff in the song is just so fun to play, so much energy

4~ Anything else interesting you would like to add about why? i turn this one up and jump aorund when playing it haha... i also play an acoustic version of it on my myspace

5~ Do you listen and play at the same time? yep

6~ What guitar do you play on? (Brand name [Example: Fender], guitar type name [Example: Stratocaster]) either the strat or epi elitst les paul

1~ What band sung the song?
Metallica

2~ What is the song title?
Welcome Home (Sanitarium)

3~ What do you like about the song? Why?
I love that it isn't just one sound going on, a whole bunch. I love the beat and it's awesome to play along with.

4~ Anything else interesting you would like to add about why?
It's on Master of the Puppets and Metallica has a new album and I suck at the guitar rofl  :p

5~ Do you listen and play at the same time?
Somewhat, it's kind of hard because it isn't just a one guitar type of song but yes, some parts I can play along with. I'm a beginner, so not very well.

6~ What guitar do you play on? (Brand name [Example: Fender], guitar type name [Example: Stratocaster])
Fender Squier Stratocaster

Thanks,

House of the Rising Sun by the Animals jump-started me into electric guitar. To this day, it's my favorite tune.

I can only describe the tune as reaching into my sole. Simplistic, I know.

The Heart Of The Matter by Don Henley, key of D... It's a song everyone relates to... sometimes can't get through the bridge vocally, but the audience can sing it for themselves... fairly easy guitar-wise... very powerful chords... powerful conclusion...

sorry i cant do it in format.

On my Tele with Bigsby:

1) Chris Isaak

2) Wicked Game

3) It sounds melodic to me, like to play it with tons of reverb

4) I put the pickup selector on neck and roll tone to half also it is a relatively unheard of song

5) yes

6) Fender Tele with Bigsby (wish i had sunburst but candy apple red isn't bad) I sing a little different too. Guitar stays the same though.

I'll post more later

1. John Mayer
2. St. Patrick's Day
3. Great chords. I learned many different chords from this song and how to use my thumb when making chords. I think it just sounds really cool and it's fun to be playing all over the neck. It's not too tough once you get used to it.

6. Play it on my Takamine Series G acoustic.

Beatles
Day Tripper
Classic riff, classic tone, classic harmonies, its the beatles whats not to like.
I wish I could sing while I play.
I play it on any guitar I am holding, though I want to get a vintage casino and paint it dayglo and then strip it down to the bare wood just to play this song.

Epiphone has john lennon casino's

by the way the guitars used on day tripper were most likely a Rickenbacker 325 and Gretsch Country Gentleman
