Hahahaha-ha! I haven't stopped laughing at that one yet...

Niki, your A&R man is going to want to have a word with you about the way you are projecting your image.

For those who haven't seen pictures of Nikininja I'm sorry to disappoint you: he actually looks completely normal. Pity.

Cheers - C

EDIT: spelling, Ceri; spelling!

the appearance may be there but its a complete wizard of oz affair. The bi-polar slugger/ lager lout, in me is very apparent when naked. Utterly cromagnon.

A MA instructer years ago said 'youve got the style and grace of a housebrick'.

I hang my guitar a little lower than i actually should... Barre chords are kinda difficult to play but all the other stuff i can play with no problems. I do agree that it should feel as comfortable as possible to play but theres limits too!
I mean, look at The Beatles, you gotta admit that it looks kinda silly when their guitars hang about where their nipples are.

But i guess you sooner or later learn to play comfortably either way you hang it. (sorry for my bad english, im from Finland)

I say go for comfort. For me that is waist high i guess. I really don't pay it any attention. I also think that concerning oneself with looking cool is a little unneccessary and could take away from your playing. Don't get me wrong - I wouldn't want to come off to an audience as boring or lifeless but the most important thing for any musician is to play with all your heart and soul. The funny thing is when you do this you will find yourself doing things your audience thinks is cool without even worrying about it. It has happened to me & I am positive many others.

And consider this - Slash doesn't seem to play with his guitar extremely low but he always looks cool and sounds even better. My favorite thing he does is when he props his foot up on the monitor and props his guitar on his knee with the neck towards the sky. When asked why he did this he replied that it was something he just did not really thinking about it but mostly to have better access to the upper frets.

Yeah, thats right Ceri but I think Jimi had developed the ' Les Paul Stoop '

Hahaha! Yes, that's a heavy guitar...

Actually, in all seriousness, I believe he developed major lower spine problems later on. Looking at his posture in The Song Remains The Same - I'm not too surprised!

Cheers - C

I'm sure i've seen the same info about Page having back problems because of his low slung guitar combined with the weight of the Gibson
