what is the best treble replacement pickup for a strat ( prefferably under $100 ) :oops: :lol:

I would suggest that any custom Fender bridge pickup would work for ya. One pickup shouldn't cost more than a $100 bucks.

Just decide on which one you need, based on what you play of course.

I like Seymour Duncan pickups and they have a wide variety to choose from. Sound clips are available of each on their website so that you get an idea of what it's characteristics are.

Look into GFS Pickups...very highly spoken of, and very well priced. I don't know about their strat pickups, but I recently put in one of their Fat Minis into the neck position of a Telecaster, and am impressed.

Take your pick. Remember, try trying out a few guitars with the following pickups in them before you decide to replace them. You may find that you miss your old pickups. :)
