Could you please point me to a good delay pedal.

What do you use one for?

I use the Digitech Digidelay pedal. Works really good, I recommend using a power cord with it instead of 9 volt. I had some weird issues when on battery power with it. The power cord fixed it though.

If you just want a straight up digital delay with decent times I suggest one of the Ibanez DE7s-$70.

I have a Boss DD-3, works great for me.
If I were to replace it though, I think I'd get an MXR Carbon Copy.

Here's another vote for the Boss DD-3. Hard to go wrong with a Boss pedal.

I've had an old DOD DFX9 for many years, too, but I don't think they make them anymore.

Don't know your price range, but check out the Line 6 DL4.

I prefer analog delays, but that's just my taste. To me they sound a lot less sterile than digital delays.

My favorites are:

1. Maxon AD999 (very warm and fat sounding, best UFO sounds ever)
2. MXR Carbon Copy (just think Pink Floyd)
3. Homebrew Electronics Mimic- Mock 2 (the only analog delay w/ tap tempo)

I recommend the #1 Echo that EHX currently has out. Great stuff for less or about the same cost as the other delays out there.

<I also hear great things about the Carbon Copy.>

I don't know a whole lot about effects pedals anymore since switching to bass..but I still play guitar often and use my bands guitarists equipment.

I notice his delay pedal is amazing..better then anything I ever tried in the past. It is a Line 6 "Echo Park". Not sure of what he paid (he's still sleeping now or I would ask him..4PM lazy guitarist lol) but knowing him it wasn't cheap.

trust me this is a good one. perhaps someone who knows more about that pedal can add something...
