For me they were the best pairing of blues based rockers ever!

Good choice. A lot of talent there.

My faves were the Allman/Betts pairing.

The various Thin Lizzy pairings were very good: Gorham with Gary Moore or Snowy White or John Sykes were all good.

Another of my favorite duo is Powell/Turner from the earliest Wishbone Ash albums & tours.

Iron Maiden had good pairings (now a trio) too.

also make a great argument for the "dueling Pats" (Travers & Thrall circa "Go For What You Know").

They deserve to be up there--

but to go in a completely different direction-
Christopher Parkening & David Brandon

Yes, previously mentioned. If you have not heard this album, you should really check it out... The Pat Travers Band (with Pat Thrall)

Hey All,

I was wondering who you consider to be the best guitar duo's of all time. I generally think Richards/Taylor (stones), Stradlin/Slash (GnR) and Whitford/Perry (Aerosmith). I'm probably missing a lot of really good duo's. I'm interested to hear everyone's .02.

Thanks

Santo and Johnny!!
