I just wanted to know your guys favorite hendrix guitar work(s) at woodstock. Probably one of his greatest sets, maybe next to isle of wight or royal albert hall.

My favorite part is the woodstock improvisation. The part where purple haze segues into it and he does the 3 minute solo after. That part is not too hard to play, but way hard to feel.

'Fire' is my favorite and watching how he actually plays those octaves is kinda cool.

Live at Monterey is stunning. Top of his game. Did you know Led Zeppelin were asked to play Woodstock but turned it down.

Yes, I have that book, partitions and tabs in hit with a nice preface. Favorite is Villanova Junction of course.

Voodoo-Chile. The intro was awesome. But overall I think that "Band of Gyspy's" is probably my favorite live Hendrix. Especially Who Knows and of course, Machine Gun.

The entire performance. It was his longest performance to date, and he wore his band out. They couldn't keep up with him. He is GOD.
Everytime I watch that performance I get goosebumps.
