Netflix has released a few gems so far. There is a new one about ZZ Top I watched last night. It's fantastic. Here is a short list of my favs:

ZZ TOP: THAT LITTLE OL' BAND FROM TEXAS
https://www.netflix.com/title/81212488

Metallica: Some Kind of Monster
(I think they removed this one)

Avicii: True Stories
(I think they removed this one)

Gaga: Five Foot Two
https://www.netflix.com/title/80196586

Miss Americana (Taylor Swift)
https://www.netflix.com/title/81028336

Please add some if they are good ones.

I saw the ZZ Top one and it was good.

I have "Dolly Parton's Heartstrings - Two Doors Down" on my watch list but haven't seen it yet.

"Woodstock - Three Days That Defined A Generation" might be good too.

Thanks for the heads up, ghost.

There seems to be a lot of possibilities.

Bob Dylan, Bob Weir, Sam Cooke, John Coltrane, Johnny Cash, Keith Richards, Bob Marley, among others.

I won't offer an opinion of what's good, because it would just be my opinion. I haven't watched them all, yet.

Since it is Netflix, what's available here in the states might be different than what our friends in the UK or Canada or other countries might have available to them.

I watched it, liked it a lot. Some cool back story stuff I never heard before.

yeah Vinyl regional availability may vary. I have seen a couple of music documentaries that I didn't like - specifically the ones that don't feature any music from the band they are about. I forget which ones (because I turned them off) but I did see a couple like that.

I tried it last night. This one isn't a documentary. It started with some commentary from Dolly (which was the best part) but that was just an intro to the show. It is a sit-com based on her song titles and stories. Personally, I didn't like it and turned it off. But if you are into country-based sit-coms, this one may be for you.

Thanks, for a heads up, Ghost. Youse guys are correct on your assumption. Netflix is different here outside the States. It’s typical that 3rd party pundits know better than the market when it comes to choice. I think they call that censorship.
Although, in this case, hard to say if scheduling may be the cause before or after. Presently, only Taylor shows up.

I'm not into that either. I like Dolly but that's not what I was expecting. Thanks, I won't bother with it now.
