Hi,

I'm using a Stagpas 300 for vocals, violin, etc... played a couple of country sets at a pretty good size venue last evening. I used an ancient amp (borrowed) to power passive stage monitors (some 10'' Peavy mini plastic clams.)

If you would: suggest a reasonable portable amp that I can use to power those passive monitors. Solid state is fine. Complexity aside, simple is good. Like to cut through the marketing and arrive at affordable and reliable.

Thanks all,

So, you're looking for like an amp head, or power amp, since you already have speakers?

A powered stereo mixing board would be the most convenient to set up and use. Look for something from Yamaha or Mackie -- say, eight to ten input channels with a minimum of 250 watts per side.
