It's getting hotter here as the days of August kick in. 95 today on the outskirts of Charlotte. Supposed to be hotter tomorrow. Ugh!

It's not only hot, but it's muggy still.

I hear ya... we're up to 96 right now and just getting hit with a shower. Won't last long... these southern rains come and go fast. And they don't help to make it any cooler.

1:17pm and it's a cloudy 64 degrees somewhere near Seattle. Can't say I miss the east coast heat and humidity. I'm an ex-Jersey boy.

I'm an ex-jersey boy too. Where abouts? I was originally born and raised in Newton, Sussex County area. Moved to PA for 10 years, then to NC this past March.

We just got hit with a storm in South Dakota. Yesterday morning I was actually wearing a sweatshirt. But I suspect it will get hot again in a couple days. 77 right now.

It's 102 and cloudy in Lexington, and I think my AC just died.

Mercer County, middle of the state. A little burg called Cranbury, exit 8 near Hightstown.

In the beautiful Northwestern part of the former British Royal Crown colony of Georgia, in the Southeastern United States (just so everyone knows 'exactly' where I'm talking about) its a balmy 96 degrees with a nice heat index of 103.....with no sea to get a breeze from! Its just 1:56 pm. The hottest part of the day is still a couple of hours away. Every day for the rest of this week is supposed to be warmer than today.....the day I took off from work!
..........Did I happen to mention that I work outdoors?....
