While I'm not in the habit of posting about actors that have died, I'm inclined to post that Kirk Douglas has passed at the age of 103.

Just because I enjoyed many of his movies.

My condolences to his family and friends.

I saw 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea in the theater. Boy, was that long ago. In the movie, he plays a tenor guitar that he actually owned, and really played the guitar in the scene (or at least, so "they" say).

His wikipedia page is impressive. He was in at least one movie every year from 1946 to 1980. Then he proceeded to make another 27 movies after that. What a legacy. Also, look at his son Michael's career. Those are some good genes.
