Thanks for the ideas, guys, and great suggestions all! As overplayed as it is, "Free Bird" fit the rhythm and timing of this particular presentation perfectly so that's what I've ended up going with.

Not sure how heavy a song you want, but Iron Maiden has a lot in their lap that start off slow and build to a complete mosh pit and then carries out to a soft ending.

Hallowed Be Thy Name is one, I believe, and they play Fenders!
