No contact info at all. I'm sure it's a joke:

I don't know if this guitar is of interest to anyone as it's very old.It was stored under my dads bed for years. It was bought in 1959 I belive and was only used a few times at hoe downs at the grange hall.It says "les paul" up at the top and comes with a case that's really niffty. The inner lining is pink! The guitar comes with a matching les paul speaker box and some sort of tape powered echo unit. Also included is a little box called tonebender. Not sure if any of this stuff works.Sold as is.

I wonder how many people were frantically trying to find a way to contact this prankster?

  That's great. It's obviously fake but I'd image loads of gullible collectors were salivating at that. If you were to actually list that, you may want to add a few zeros on to the end of that $75.

It has to be fake--it gives too much detail--and I believe it was faked by someone who knew it would be seen as fake.

But good for a laugh, and a dream.

Oh yeah, he had way too many juicey details. I just wonder how many people were trying to get Craigslist to contact him for them?

You'd be surprised, there are people that have no idea the value of things they find.

I did this same thing to a friend of mine years ago - he was a vintage dealer and did something that kinda made me mad, so to get even - I had my Grandma call and leave him a message on his answering machine - this was long before caller Id and *69 came around - Anyway - She called him up and said that she had an old guitar that had belonged to her husband that passed away - all she said about the guitar is that it was white, it said Gretch at the top of it and it looked to have a Penguin on the little plastic thingy - She didnt leave a # or contact info - just said that she would call him back - lol - He about sh*t - he wouldnt go anywhere, sat and waited on the call back - called the phone company, trying to trace the phone call - hilarious!!
