"The Messiah Will Come Again" by Roy Buchanan and most anything by Ronnie Earl.

Satch's "Dog with Crown & Earring" takes me to special places, and when I'm in that pensive place Mogwai's "Hunted by a Freak" with a macanudo and a sifter of one of my favorite beverages usually evens the score (even better when there's snow on the ground).

Over the years too many to list, but those 2 jump out at the moment.

Jimi Hendrix's interpretation of The Star Spangled Banner is my favorite.

For me, this has got to be 'The Final Peace' by Jeff Beck from his 'There And Back' album. It's beautiful, he's got a nice touch. Quite a bit of his slow stuff hits the spot with me, such as, like er

'Suspension' from 'You Had It Coming'
'Seasons' from 'Jeff'
'Declan' from 'Who Else'
'Where Were You' and 'Two Rivers' from 'Guitar Shop'

Also there is Ritchie Blackmore's 'Weiss Heim' and 'Maybe Next Time'

Celestial Voices from the song A Saucerful Of Secrets/Live at Pompeii - Pink Floyd; absolutely beautiful, I want this played at my funeral.
The Great Gig In The Sky - Pink Floyd
A Warm Place - Nine Inch Nails

I've always greatly enjoyed "Riviera Paradise" by Stevie Ray Vaughan.
