So 3 days old, plugged in the cord to amp, won’t seat ”Seat” in jack at guitar. No click, won’t stay plugged in, TODAY, but had no issues yesterday. Is this guitar plagued? Already has ”Cosmetic” fret markers NOT ON TENORS. Is this just a $500 TOY?

Take your jack plate off, and pull it out of the guitar gently. Check to see if the arm that 'clicks' into the Positive end of your jack has: A). Broken off B). Bent out of reach of full 'click' contact.

If it's "A"...you'll need to replace it. If it's "B" you can gently bend it back to normal operating location.

Thanks, since it’s day old I took it to the fender dealer a few miles away. He pulled the jack, it was bent and the male plug was on the Wrong side of the connector. Only occasionally making contact. All good.
