Sad, co-founder of Little Feat and a great musician and singer.

Not a cofounder of Little Feat. They released their first 2 albums with the original lineup (Lowell was the only guitarist in the first version) to critical acclaim but poor sales and broke up.

A lot of Lowell's songs from the first 2 albums got a lot of airplay when covered by people like Linda Ronstadt, but you rarely heard pre-Paul Feat on the radio.

Then they reformed with Paul as a member. The addition of him as a second guitarist, second song writer, and second lead singer became the classic Little Feat. Still not a chart topping band but they had decent sales and a good bit of airplay.

To me, Lowell and Paul go together like Lennon and McCartney or Mick and Keith. Greater together than individually.

RIP Paul.

+1

You'll be missed, Paul.

My condolences to the family of Paul. To us, he was a member of a band that we remember as a great part of rock and roll, but to you he was a member of your family.

In my mind, there is no greater loss. Our prayers are with you.

Saw a Ken Settle photo showing Paul trading licks with Eric Clapton during a Little Feat concert @ Meadowbrook Amphitheatre (Rochester Hills, MI) on August 13th, 1992.

Found also an audio from the footage on YouTube:
