I’ve noticed that several American elite models have gone from Fenders website, and Anderton’s in England is doing a generous discount on American Elites. I think perhaps they’re going to be replaced by something new?

Of course it's going to be replaced. At the 2020 NAMM show in January, Fender will showcase the new Stratocaster "Superbra" and every Strat fashionista will dump whatever they're playing in favor of FMIC's latest and greatest. The new instrument will be essentially identical to the outgoing Elite model save for that oh-so-glamorous new headstock decal and will retail for twenty percent higher than the now-obsolete guitar.

So this means the 'old' Elite lineup will now have better lower prices! Woohoo! :P

I've read rumors that they're going to revive the Ultra name.

My wild guess is they're going to drop the spokewheel truss adjuster, change the name from Elite to Ultra, and raise the price.

Did the new Ultras will bear N4s and Shawbuckers as the Elites?

The Strat Ultra was leaked on an Australian retailer earlier this week. $2200ish USD

Just from memory: they removed the dial at the base of the neck (back to traditional adjustment?)
The site also had the neck profile listed as "Modern D".

There is a thread about it on strat-talk

I would have reacted the same way, but I fell asleep.
But the same applies to all YT promotional vids, so...

Interesting. Was there something looking like a Jazzmaster or Jaguar seen in silhouette?

From what I've seen on couple of websites the new lineup got several major enhancements. Ultra Noiseless pickups replaced the N4s and for the first time a Jazzmaster was added to the lineup. Humbucker-equipped Strats are fitted with a DoubleTap zebra humbucker in the bridge position and a reconfigured S1 switch.

There's a return to the basics: a rosewood fretboard in place of ebony and the removal of the blower switch and spoke-wheel truss rod adjuster. A new "Modern D" neck shape with rolled edges replaced the compound C-to-D profile from the older models, with the neck heel becoming more tapered for a much easier access to higher registers. Basses got also an overhaul with a new battery compartment and a top-load HiMass bridge; pickguards are notched for heel-mounted truss-rod adjustments and raised foil headstock decals went from silver to gold.

Oh,that’s lovely! It can’t be an easy thing to update a product that was so fantastic in the first place, and especially when a large part of the customer base is a bit resistant to change, but I for one deeply appreciate Fender’s continuing efforts to further improve and modernise their products. This new product line looks to be right up my alley.
