I love this thread. 8)
Usually I have a chin patch but in Iceland March is dedicated to men and cancer awareness. This year they urged men to collect moustaches and enter a contest on http://www.karlmennogkrabbamein.is/ in who can collect the most money for cancer research and awareness programs.

So here is my moustache and I am thinking about entering the contest tomorrow.

Nonnig

Enter it man.

A moustache is one thing I can grow convincingly, its just an extention of my nasal hair.
I did grow a bit of a Maverick PI a few months ago, I may do it again.

We have a similar fund-raiser in Australia, but it's held in "Mo-vember"... everyone's encouraged to grow one throughout the month of November. We get everything from prissy brigadier to pr0n star handlebars happening then.

I happen to be sporting a bit of a beard at the moment; I should attempt a photograph. Incipient grey hairs can be viewed as lending an air of distinction or, conversely, making me look like a grizzled tramp... it's a fine line...

I posted this photo in another thread. Just a mustache. I have grown a full beard and like the way it looks but it's a PITA to keep trimmed. In summer, I have my hair cut high-n-tight so it's easy to take care of while motorcycling. Long hair looks terrible when you take a helmet off. 8)

Hey "VT Black Strat", noticed your "Sturgis" t-shirt.
Ever been to the "Full Throttle Saloon" in Sturgis?
It's known as the biggest "Biker Bar" in the world!

I sure as hell hope that facial hair isn't a prerequisite of being a player because even at 35 I have the most sparse facial hair going. I wanted to grow a goatee when I was 16 and while I could it would take much work and some comb over skills :D . That said I had a friend in college who could grow a full beard in just over 4 days. Dude would show up clean shaven one day, a goatee the next followed by just a stache and then start over or do whatever else he could come up with. It was kind of like Homer Simpson when he shaves.

The only thing I have on my face right now I dont even know what the name is. It is that patch right under your lip that SRV or Greg Allman used to always have. In fact I call it my Stevie. I hate to to even make this comparison but also Howie Mandell.lol What is the proper or slang for this as I have had one on and off for 20 years.

I've heard it called a soul patch.
