Guys, do you have to have facial hair to play guitar? From the looks of a lot of people on this site, the answer may be yes. So show us pictures of your beards, mustaches, goatees, sideburns, large eyebrows and other facial hirsuteness.

Excessive nose and ear hair do not count. Sorry, ladies, most of you will have to sit this one out.

Here's me, trying desperately to rock the "Eric Clapton's fat little brother" look:

Come on, bring the fuzz!

I will not be checking out this thread any more ...

especially if any of the ladies decide not to sit it out.

I like the MC Escher in the background. But please tell us you've something on under that robe. There's guests in the house!

I won't post it again, but my bearded face is floating around here somewhere. Except for the time I was in the Navy, I've had a beard since I was 17. I'll die with it.

I have a decent amount of facial hair. I'm 17, but I can usually get a decent beard after about a week (and I'm too lazy to shave it, so it stays). No pic though at the moment.

 I haven't shaved in a week so I'll take a pic later. My mom doesn't really care. As long as I don't have some sort of school picture or something, she doesn't really mind. I think she prefers clean shaven, but oh well.

Thanks for noticing the MC Escher print. I'm a big fan of his stuff. In fact, I saw I really cool exhibit of his works at the Hermitage museum in Saint Petersburg a few years ago. Fascinating.

Now, as for what's under the robe...I'll never tell. 8)

A friend of mine curated an exhibition of Escher about ten or twelve years ago in London. I had only ever seen reproductions before: in real life those etchings kind of glow, even though they are just black and white. Superb...

And we'll talk about the Hermitage some time, too --

Sorry - I have no facial hair to contribute to this thread...

Cheers - C

Shaved off my mustache around Christmas because I was starting a new job in January. I grew it 30 years ago to look older. Then it went gray and made me really look old so off it came.

There are a few of me floating around here on the forum too. I have had facial hair for all but about 6 months since 1975.

I may be losing the hair on my head, but my facial hair stays!!!!!!

I have a deep sense of foreboding posting this pic. This is me a few years ago (mustache still intact) with my trusty Big Blue Jazzer. By sheer coincidence, I am wearing that same Fender tee today!

I have no problem with going gray. Bald? Now that bothers me. Gray? Bring on that gray beard and hair.
