I've heard a lot of songs over the years, and there is occasionally the line in the song that I can't for the life of me figure out. So what are your favorites?

I'm thinking back on an old song by Paul McCartney right after he left the Beatles. For years I could never figure out what he was saying in the song. Many years later, I discovered that he was saying "meet you in the falling rain".

For a little while, I had trouble figuring out "Blitzkrieg Bop" by the Ramones until I took a closer listen at it.

Other than that...I'd have to say "Storm the Gates of Hell" by Demon Hunter is still one I can't find well-thought-out lyrics for.

Lots of Rolling Stones songs like "Get Off of My Cloud". Legend has it Fats Domino told Mick Jagger that people become more interested in your music if they have to figure out the words. There's only one clearly enunciated line in Domino's "Blueberry Hill".

Micro Cuts and Forced In by Muse are both amazing songs, but I can't tell what the hell the lyrics are since they're all in falsetto.

Has anybody EVER been able to figure out any of Steven Tyler's lyrics?

No, and the same with AC/DC. Most seems like random screams. It's not as bad as screamo though I suppose. Any screamo band qualifies for not being able to understand the lyrics. I'm not actually sure there are lyrics to be honest.
