My favorite Hendrix album is Are You Experienced, because it rocks the hardest. It was also rather seminal for 1967.

My second favorite is Electric Ladyland. Everything else was great too, including most of the posthumous releases.

When I was about 20 years old, I went through a phase where once I started listening to Hendrix, that was all I wanted to hear for the rest of the evening. At one time I think I owned almost every record he made, except Rainbow Bridge, which I couldn't find anywhere.

The original Experience album cover glowed under black light. I think Cream's Disraeli Gears cover did as well.
