Hi guys. I'm really passionate with Fender's 80's history. I have came across names on inspection tags and I was wondering if you can recognise them. Are they still within the brand?

Sal Pinion
Hector Sandoval
Alfredo Chavez
Jerry Swallow
Tina S

Or initials:
GR
FRR

Also - am I missing anyone?

Thank a lot

If that FRR is inside a circle, it stands for Fender Rogers Rhodes, and it's usually accompanied with a number which identifies the worker - although nobody seems to know/remember who had which number.
The GR could also be something else than initials - how about a pic for the forum detectives?

On the workers who stamped their name on an instrument, some advanced to the Custom shop, thus becoming (more) famous. Some are musicians, of all things. But most are under the radar for various, natural reasons.

It would be fantastic if someone, maybe an ex-worker (hi, Rob!), would collect the info that's still available. Too many names remain just the stamp - the unsung heroes...

On those names you listed, I'd feel too much a stalker googling for them, but as a hint, name plus fender search gets you started.

Hector and Jerry were inspectors. Don't know the others.
