I have a music related question to ask of anyone who can help.
I just watched Collateral, a movie with Jamie Foxx and Tom Cruise about a contract assassin and a cab driver.
There is a section of a song that Shazzam cannot identify, presumably because there are too many other sounds going on.
It's near an airport so there are jet engines and chopper blades, etc.
I assume that's why Shazzam can't detect it.
The scene takes place a couple of minutes after the LAPD and the FBI realize they're both on the same case but before the cab driver (Jamie Foxx) stops his cab to let coyotes pass across the road.
The song in question starts as the LAPD Night detectives get into their cars after talking to FBI and realizing they're all on the same case.
I don't know the time index but it's roughly halfway through the show.

I know this is a long shot but I like that groove and I want to get that music.
Thanks to all.

It's a good movie.
Worth watching a second time if it's been a while since you saw it.
(hint hint - let's everybody watch it one more time so we can get Matt the answer .... LOL)
I dare say it might even be Tom's best work ever.
I'm not much of a Tom fan but there are exactly 3 of his flicks that I don't wish someone else played the part and this is one of them.

For anyone who might be interested, the other two are Minority Report and Vanilla Sky.
Anything else he's done does nothing for me.

Maybe this will help, I enjoyed the movie, but that was years ago.

If you're into sci-fi you might check Tom Cruise out in "Oblivion".

I also enjoyed him in the biopic "American Made".

Nope.
That's not the one.
Whatever it is, it's not listed on the soundtrack, neither on the official recorded soundtrack, nor the IMDB website listing of songs.
