Has anyone had any expirience with the new Charvel line of guitars? Any information on the tele model would be very helpful. I have played it and it was great, but i a curious what other people think of it.

See if you can get one that DOESN'T have a Floyd Rose, trust me, you won't regret that info...

Other than that, I have had no actual experience with them. Although it looks as though they are trying to mimic the Strat/Tele style necks. Really, it comes down to your personal preference.

Sorry no, the last time I owned a Charvel, they were still an independent company (around '85 I think)

I'm not a guitar player, but I thought Floyd Rose trem is one of the best system out there. Anyone else chime in or explain why is Floyd Rose is so bad?

They are very good at what they were designed for.. but allot of people dislike, the extra time it takes to tune/restring... Personaly I just started using a Kahler system and find it very fast and effective, and rate it over the floyd rose now

I just sold the Pagan Gold Tele Charvel. I own several Custom Shop Charvels. With that being said, the reason I sold the Tele is because I like the forearm contour of the Strats which the Tele does not have. The new Charvels are really good for the money. There are some "cheap" parts on there though. Dunlop strap locks, Grover tuners and an ugly flat black knurled knob that doesn't match the gloss black hardware. Not saying Dunlop strap locks and Grover tuners are cheap but I don't believe they are better than Schallers. The neck dressing is really good. I just prefer my one off Custom Shops Strats is all. In fact, I have another one on the way.
As for the Floyd rose trems, I don't think most people know how to PROPERLY set them up and tune them. That is why they get a bad rap. I will take a Floyd original anyday! I know most people on here like the vintage trems and hardtails but not me. Not for what I play anyway.
JUST MY 2 CENTS!!!
