I have a hardshell case but it has some mold in it and I was wondering if someone out there had been able to get rid of it. Any ideas or suggestions?

If it's on the outside not spread inside, I've sprayed it with Windex multi purpose cleaner. Get as much of it off, then follow with dish detergent and warm water. Don't put too much dish detergent - especially the concentrated ones.

And avoid mold/mildew removers at all costs... they'll bleach the inside.

CAREFULLY use a bleach solution to kill the mold

If you have access to a large freezer, put the case in it for a couple days to kill the mold. Then clean with soapy water.
