All right Snowy. It has been almost 24 hours since you got your shirt. Has it stopped raining yet? :)

 The rain has been off and on all day, Stirling is about an hour drive from where I am. So Saturday will be the earliest I can get over there. Hopefully I'll be in a position to post a pic or two, at the weekend.

I'm in the Clyde Valley Bill, a beautiful part of the country. So your wife is from the City of Discovery, I assume you've visited the place? I was going to drive up to the highlands for some pix, if you've been I'm sure you'll know why  Your accent is very convincing

Haha, thanks. Yes, I was married in Dundee and on our honeymoon we spent three weeks touring the Highlands. Of course we visited a distillery or two as well. Tell you what Snowy, if you ever make it to the Red MacGregor in Aviemore have a pint of heavy for me would ya?

I just went back through the thread and I was wrong I have eight pics on the contest so far.

Sure hope I can pull off the extra cool shot I have been trying to organize for the last two or three weeks.

I still have two picture opportunities left !!!!

and I hope this thread is full of great shots of all of you too.

Deeply cool! And I massively envy the Tele; that's the Deluxe in Cherry Burst, isn't it?

Hey, Snowy man, way back in the "Fender please make us a T-shirt" thread I suggested that at some point we were going to need a Forum kilt, too. Several people seemed to like the idea - I think you can tell where I'm going with this, can't you...? Over to you!

BTW: talking about Stirling (which would make an excellent picture), I once spent two weeks staying in the Pineapple House near there. Do you know the one? Now a T-shirt picture with that would be a competition winner - whachathink?

Cheers - C

OK, let's begin. This one is... Guns and Roses (obviously)

Image

In the background, the Imperial War Museum (cos it's round the corner from my wife's office). But in the 18th and 19th centuries this was the famous lunatic asylum, the Bethlem Royal Hospital. Popularly known as Bedlam - which is where that word comes from. Seemed strangely apt for the Fender Forum...

Cheers - C

I'm listening to GnR as I type this!!!!! Great pic Ceri, and to answer your Q yeah my Tele is Cherry Burst. It's funny I almost called my brother today, to ask to borrow his kilt! I thought that was a bit over the top  I know the place you speak of too Ceri, I used to live in Dollar. A small village not far from Stirling, more pix to come ths weekend hopefully.
