Nah, separate worlds. There'd be no reason for it, but she'd probably make 'em nervous anyway.

-But I was surprised to find out, once I got the Tele, how many guys around the "office" play. It was: who's got a Strat, who's got a Les Paul, a Martin. One guy just bought a twelve string Rickenbacker. And on and on.

Pretty cool. 8)

Have the makings of an interesting musical possibility It's unfortunate that a band with 'that name' already exists.

Looks like I have another photo op coming up. I thought I was going to Chicago (I always wanted to check out Buddy Guy's Legends), but instead they're sending me to San Francisco for a month. Never been there, but my daughter tells me it is her favorite city in the world . . . and they've got a Hard Rock.

Well I have to say, this is an excellent and well planned post with some air tight marketing stratagies in place. The OP does not specify how long the contest will run and considering the price of the prize, I am sure Fender made a subatantial amout of profits from t-shirt sales! I wonder if the moderator who set this up in on any type of commision :)

Fender has lost a heap of money on these shirts, particularly since I've been shipping a bunch of them internationally on our dime -- and I must say, I find your post quite annoying even if we hadn't, Strat0Blues. If you've got nothing nice to say, how 'bout doing us all a favor and saying nothing, OK?? Much appreciated. :-)

I have to say from first hand experience ,how wrong you are stratoblues. Fender and all its staff ,management, and associated artists are very hardworking, kind and generous individuals, who always go the extra mile to represent there company with honor.. I never thought this thread was about winning a prize so much as a way to represent yourself as a Fender enthusiast.
So Brad please keep this thread going ,ignore the negativity, dont let anyone discount what you have achieved here. And if you feel compelled to give a prize ,my vote is for Officer Dog.
Thank you and keep up the good work

Hopefully, I'll get my shirt in a couple of days. Please keep it going. LOL

My only complaint was that the merchandise site never responded to my emails about my order getting screwed up so I had to order the forum shirt separately so I'll be getting it later. I do like the fact they have free shipping no matter what which was a major plus for me.

Okay, sorry for the commentary. Lets get on with the pics. :D

I hope everyone takes the time to thank Brad and Fender for all the hard work they've put into making this forum for us. Brad has gone beyond the call of duty getting us these shirts, especially for me. Thanks Brad.

Here is my pic for now. I hope to get better ones.

Okay, have two pics. Not posting myself. LOL You can click them to make them bigger. I hope I can post more than one. If I can't, use the Archie one.

This one needs a little explaining. My dad and mom bought my first guitar when I was a kid but never went through with learning it. My dad got into a bad accident in 2008, and now after a lifetime of doing everything himself, he's a paraplegic and can't walk or use his arms properly. His nickname is Archie. This stuffed dragon was from a stuffed dragon line and his name is Archie. So, in honor of my dad, I have "Archie" wearing the Fender shirt.

And this is just a silly picture. I figure, hey, have my guitar wear the shirt.

EDIT: Oooops sorry. Didn't know someone else did the guitar/shirt thing already.

Okay, no laughing. I'm posting my icky picture of me--no makeup and hair in my face. I'll post a better one later with my guitar.
