Cool, stratmansteve!

Singapore, huh? Business or pleasure?

Either way, have fun!

Cheers - C

Hi Ceri,

After three weeks I'm back . . . but a bit jet lagged.

It was business, but I'm managed to cram in some pleasure, too. I was hoping to lose a few pounds by declaring this a "beer free" trip. After leaving Miami I got only as far as O'Hare Int'l before sampling a Goose Island Ale, a local Chicago brew. Then in Singapore, I discovered Muddy Murphy's Irish Pub. Now the entire barstaff knows me by name.

I continue to disappoint myself.

A yellow lab huh? I'd be worried about her eating picks!

We've got quite a few working here. You wouldn't believe (-though since you have one, you probably would!) the things they eat.

Hi Steve: been away myself and only just saw this. Made me fall about laughing! And I know what you're talking about - been there, done that (the beer bit, not Singapore...).

It's those long layovers at the airports that get me. You get to your terminal, pass through security, find your gate, then you've got 2+ hours to kill. So what do you do? Find a bar stool, order a beer (always the extra large one for 'just a dollar more') and watch the ballgame you have no interest in or the news. I've even seen DVDs of "People Do the Craziest Things" playing in some airport bars.

I guess they schedule extra time between flights just in case so you can make your connection, but all six of my flights landed early. All six !!! A more cynical and suspicious person might think the airlines stretched the flight times on the schedules to boost their on time performance scores . . . but I don't think they would do that.

Back on topic - I think my next Forum shirt pic will be taken closer to home, though, I've heard they want to send me to Chicago and New England in November. My cold weather clothes don't fit anymore!

Warmer in Singapore than Florida?? Been here since the 9th....leaving the 12th. Hot!! All things being equal back on 12/18. Keep your date book open. Maybe we can lure "McGator" up there down to Delray for a pint.

Awesome. Beautiful animal. Closes the circle on some questions.
My Yorkie would be lost inside that shirt. Also barks at my guitar playing. Less tolerant.

I'm glad Doc. I'm a firm believer in never keeping anything from one's (online-guitar-playing) physician.

Cool pic!

I was wondering...how long will the contest be on? I want to order a shirt but if it doesn't come in time for the contest, I'm not sure I'll get one. Already thinking about pics with it. ;)

Hi Doc,

The temps were about the same, but Singapore is more humid . . . if that's possible!!

See you in December. It should cool off by then.

Nah, separate worlds. There'd be no reason for it, but she'd probably make 'em nervous anyway.

-But I was surprised to find out, once I got the Tele, how many guys around the "office" play. It was: who's got a Strat, who's got a Les Paul, a Martin. One guy just bought a twelve string Rickenbacker. And on and on.

Pretty cool. 8)
