Of course I recognize the crosswalk Ceri! You are so lucky to be able to visit sites around London that I could only dream of! That's got to be my favorite but a close second is DG's houseboat!! 8) Thanks my friend!!

You are sure to be among the winners!

Ah, crosswalk: couldn't remember the American word for it...

If I read that quote at the bottom of your posts I was sure to get the idea - eventually...

Someday perhaps, you guys will find your way to NYC's Central Park, and Strawberry Fields. There, you won't have to be concerned about blocking traffic. 8)

I'll use my 2000th post as an invitation. You find your way up here and we'll do just that :!:
Maybe even hit the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame Annex, BB King's, Umanoff Guitars, Rudy's Music Stop and who knows what else musical.

Can I come too - and can we take in the Blue Note as well? Just booked my ticket: see you tomorrow.

But seriously, that sounds such fun! One of my favorite places on the planet...

Cheers - C

You know....if 'Concorde' was still flying, you could be here in less than that time...with JFK less than an hour's drive from me. Might even persuade Mike to drive down and meet us if he were up to it.

I hope it doesn't take that long, otherwise I might likely be. I don't have any immediate plans to relocate. Even then, we'll get you together with the ''Stratman" at a favorite watering hole of his. He likes his Guiness :P

Ceri,
Thanks for the Abbey Rd. Pics. Awesome. Perhaps you could get an assortment of lounge regulars like yourself, Nikininja, and a couple more Brits to do the pic ala Abbey Rd cover with your lounge shirts on. Sure to be a winner... :D

Roger that.....and don't forget to send Brad the summons for obstructing traffic. It's the least those folks out west can do in appreciation for such an endeavor even though those blokes didn't use any Fender gear. (Can't cite the Gretsch Country Gentleman in '64.) 8)

Doc

Doc, I think Harrison did use a rosewood tele once. I could be wrong though.
I would be glad to pitch in and help pay for the ticket if Ceri and friends get one!

I was pretty much thinking 'Beatles' in that scenario. You are correct in that there are Tele's and Strats in Harrison's arsenal later on in his career, with two I can think of having great notoriety.

Doc
