This is an opinion section that is not tollerent of my viewpoints and so I'll stick to Guitars and amps.[/quote]

I'm with Hop :!:

If you are implying that there is an intolerance of your objections to 'naked ladies' and other detritus not family oriented, do not come to the snap conclusion that you are a majority of one.

You certainly have backup in that quarter. Your input is greatly needed and appreciated. :P

I for one second your objections regarding non-family orientated content on this site. I think having this forum family/all ages, friendly is one of its strengths. Whilst i share your Christian beliefs, i dont think the forums are any place to air views whether they be anti or pro. Were all here for guitars, basses, amps and the occasional silly bit of dogrel that doesnt mean to offend anyone. Offensive posts here are dealt with speedily and with a minimum of fuss.

Stick around mate, your input is valued.
Or as we british say
'chin up old son, stiff upper lip'. :D

I didnt mean to come off as poor old me and all that.

I dont feel rejected or any other such thing and the story is as old as time, there is nothing new under the son.

My main fuss was that I can no longer allow my young son to read this forum with me and then when I make such statements I get bombarded with I guess you dont go to the beach then and so on.

Even the old prophet cried out to god saying I am the only one left here.

Thanks for your support

Thanks for the complement, Bill. I tried to get the link to show the picture but could only get the link here.

We need more pix!

Anyone recognise this derelict power station? What's that in the sky?

This one obviously didn't work compositionally, but my wife felt you'd like the sunset through the ruins lighting...

Ceri,

That last one is the money shot! I do so love a Pink Floyd reference!

Hi Bill: when I found myself printing out a picture of a pig, gluing it to cardboard, carefully cutting it out and attaching string like a junior school project I did start to wonder - is this all getting a little out of control?

Well, if I didn't know better I'd say you were standing on Manhattan's East River Drive looking east to Queens' Long Island City area and an old chemical factory building of similar configuration which had four corner stacks. Great the way the sun cuts through that structure. 8)

Certainly can't say you don't have a pig in a poke, there. :P

Nice effort, but just a tad more to the viewer's left would have been
classic.

Give it another go!

Haha! I might not! This was in fact already the second take: I rode around town with a friend a few weeks ago and did several of these kinds of shots. When I got them onto the computer I discovered that every single one had camera shake or was out of focus. And I couldn't persuade him to run off dozens of pics: his mind was still locked in the era of 35mm...

The wife's much better at this stuff!

We did another one along somewhat these lines that I'll post in a few days time.

Cheers - C

Nice...Very clever idea...I really like the western looking slicker over the Fender Forum Tee, extremely classic look!
