That is very cool of you to say so Hop, but the credit for these pix goes to a friend of mine in Russia. She is a very talented guitar player, that's how we connected. I've told her what you guys have been saying, she's thrilled. As you have asked, I will start a thread in the lounge with all the pix. Thanks again Hop, you're the man 8)

Doc

Ceri's 'jumping' photos are pretty exceptional, no doubt about that. At promo's conclusion I'll definitely be forwarding our top-ranking pics around to the chief marketeers in the organization.

By the way, let me also make it clear that we'd never use any of these pics for promotional purposes without checking back in with the contributor for explicit approval -- I didn't want to muddy up the fun here by posting 2 pages of legalese on usage rights. :-)

(Back after the weekend) Gentlemen, I'm emabarrassed and deeply charmed by your words. I should point out that I already have the gigantic honor of having been a winner in a Forum contest, which in any fair world should be an unspoken bar on future consideration.

So I'm just posting pictures here for the sheer fun of it. As it happens I've plenty more which are only waiting a polite interval till others have posted too...

Not only capable of producing amazing photographs, but incredibly modest too. All the makings of an international superstar if you ask me! :-)

Ceri, you have every right to compete for the prize in this competetion. The first lounge contest was a luck thing. This contest requires a bit more than signing in and posting. The pictures your wife of you and your forum tee took were wonderful and deserve very much to be considered in the contest. Just my opinion

Regards Pat

I'm not thinking of that one for the contest. It would make great ad copy.

On another note, it's great to see Mike out and about. Not very 'Miami'
up there :P

I think you should go for the contest. I don't see why winning a contest should ban you for the rest of your life. (Besides.......part of the fun is seeing everyone's entry, and who wins). If you happen to win.......that's just frosting on the cake.

Competition is always a fun thing.

:D Well, you're a bunch of silver tongued smoothies, the lot of you. It's a great Forum, ain't it?

I have a different tack in mind: I'll post some more pix in a couple of days.

Anyway. Lookin' good, Mike! How was the moonlight? Look at those colors - they painted those trees Sienna Sunburst!

Cheers guys - C

Well I wasn't in Stowe, but today we were up in Burlington, and Montpelier and back to Northfield.

Nice shot.

The shot was actually not in Stowe, VT.

It was a visitor's info center on I-91 near Brattleboro, VT.

Well I definitely wasn't near Brattleboro - that's 100+ miles away. I have stopped at that info center - but not lately.

Hope you enjoyed your leaf peeping - with the wind and rain lately, most of the color is now gone around here. We did see some on our way to Burlington, but the painted trees are starting to get bare. And we have had a couple of 20F nights - time for the warm blankets.
