Congratulations, Monaro! Glad to hear you're naming your children after guitars. Martin next?

I suggest you keep Sunburst Strat for middle names. Don't want those kids getting teased at school...

Is this the first birth recorded on the Forum? Nice idea for winning the photo prize; I like your style!

I went to AT&T Park in San Francisco on Saturday to see the Giants winding down their season against the Dod...Dodg...Dodge...I can't say it. Anyway, a beautiful day at a beautiful ball park.

The Willie Mays statue in front of the main entrance at 24 Willie Mays Plaza.

The Bay Bridge, giant coke bottle slide, and the big glove.

Me and the Big Glove! Note the 501 foot sign above my left shoulder. Legend has it that Andres Galaraga hit the glove with a home run in 2001 (actually he only reached the top row of the bleachers, but hey, that's why they call it a legend.)

Hey Strato, how come nobody commented on your pics? I guess Fender Fanatic is better looking than you. Anyway, Great pics! Too bad the Giants are cleaning out their lockers right now. Just like my team, the Mets  (the BUMS!). Two years in a row they blew it!

Thanks nedeye. Yea, no doubt about your Fender Fanatic comment. Tough luck about your Mets, especially being so close. I guess it wasn't just Willie Randolph's fault after all.

Great pix Strato, the statue brings back some great memories for me. I actually saw Willie Mays play (I think lol), it was known as Candlestick Park in those days. I was just a kid, but I still remember. Fender Fanatic rocks! At least it looks that way  , that is a beautiful Tele, that shade of blue is awesome. So to a few pix of Stirling Castle, I took a wander around the place earlier today.

The entrance,

Hey Snowy: great pics, man! Stirling's fab, and just what a Scottish castle is meant to look like. So glad you skipped the statue of Mel Gibson in a kilt from further down, though! And not because I'm English: my paternal grandfather was a Glaswegian docker...

Something about the Forum T-shirt is just making us reach for the shades, isn't it...?

Hi Ceri,
You're right about the shades 8) , I was stopped twice today walking up to the castle. Both wanted to know where I got my cool tee, I told them to get in touch with Brad. They both took the web addy, I hasten to add... they were both girls! If the rain had stayed away, I planned on going to the Pineapple House. I might take a buzz over there next week, watch out for more pix

Hey Snowy,

Beautiful pics! Your favorite view of the castle is mine also. I visited in '01, hoping to go back some day.
