That's a new Yuriy Shishkov creation (CS).

"Diamond Cobra" Stratocaster. Exhibition grade wood, Cloisonné Fine silver inlay work, Watercolor painting, Green Diopsides, Rubies, Sapphires, Diamonds.

Whoo boy! A lot of desirable candy at the Summer NAAM 2019 and here in your thread, Mike.

A friend of mine has a Kemper and he has been using it to sample his plethora of amps that he’ll unload as time goes by, I’m sure Kemper’s latest offering will give him thought. So many good things here, and Yuri again has not disappointed fans.

I’d love to have something like this paired with an S-1 switch in the Strat:

Sadly, I’m pretty sure that matchup won’t happen with Fender. That would be explosive!.
Snap in pickups and or cards have had limited success with Fender; but, this goes to show the game of alternatives versus hard wired pup installation isn’t over yet.
Just when you think you've seen it all, you never know what’s to be revealed from just around the corner. :P
Mind you 10 choices with a 5 way switch and an S-1 is pretty cool as is. 8) Add a soldering iron, some gutsy alternative components, and a new selection of pickups, and you’re good to go for more mojo.

FSB.

So what's the story with these amps I'm hearing tales of but have heard no details?

Deluxe Reverb "Tone Master"
Twin Reverb "Tone Master"

Anybody have any info?

Thanks for the linkage, Mike.

((( heavy sigh .... )))

I was sooo excited when I saw that Tone Master logo, the same exact logo as the C/S Tone Master amp of the 90s.
My mind was racing.
I thought maybe this was some kind of hot rodded Kick-Butt version of the DRRI and the TRRI.
Silly me for jumping to such an unlikely possibility.
LOL

I got an e-mail from F the other day that had all the new for NAMM gear.

LOL

That's how I felt after following the link they provided. No spec sheet/data, just $ and sales jibberish.
I had hoped to never hear mention of them again.

So it's a digital emulation of a great amp ... or two great amps as the case may be but in this case, only one at a time.
The advantages are: line out, power scaling, cabinet simulation, reduced weight.
It seems to me like EVERY digitally emulating amp in the world already does all of those things and more and as an added bonus they emulate lots of other amps as well .... and include f/x processing as part of the bargain.
I'm sorry Fender but I don't see this working out well for you.
You're only doing one amp model.
For this to work the amp will have to be priced at 1/10th the cost of a DRRI or TRRI.
I'm betting you were going to price them about 1/2 rather than 1/10.
Seriously, how are you going to justify the price of these amps if they're not 1/10th the cost of the re-issues?
When you're doing only one amp at a time and you don't include anything else?

Maybe think about bringing back the Cyber Twin and the Cyber Deluxe instead.
You will probably have better luck with that route.

And for the love of Pete, don't make people angry by using a beloved and storied moniker like Tone Master.
That just dilutes the Tone Master legacy and does a disservice to FMIC.
Clearly, the brains at work here have no intention of respecting Fender heritage and honour.
These brains only want to cash in at any cost and to hell with the future.
Count me out.

You're doing great work with your pedals though.
The trick there is to resist the temptation to mess it up.

It was $899 on the email/initial listing...
OK, I'll admit it, I think they did a great job after listening to several of the Utube vids.
Its not for me, but I think it will do ok.
It could have been even better, had it captured the entirety of the Deluxe line say Tweed/Brownface/Blackface emulation.
The standby or silent switch is pretty cool.
I can see its appeal w/ reduced weight, power attenuation, balanced DI but the microphone emulation is just kind of gimmicky to me and would have been a great slot for the Tweed/Brownface options.
