I am new to this website. I need some suggestions for buying a new ceiling fan. Its for my music studio, I have bought one before, but it's sounds irritate while recording so could you tell me what I should be looking for when buying a fan? I need something affordable and it should not consume too much electricity. Thank you

My old studio had a ceiling fan and it bounced the high frequency in a very strange manner. The Reflection of the surface would vary depending if the sound bounces of the ceiling or the fan blades.

There is no good solution IMO. Fans involve electric and noise. If you need it quiet, the best solution (but not the cheapest) might be to get and air conditioner and port the cool air through a wall (A/C on the other side of the wall).

I agree with Mike and ghost, there's no easy way to use any fan when recording. If you can swing it, A/C is the way to go and, even then you have to do a test recording to be sure you can't hear the air flow.

Check out his (her) tagline.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Golly. I sure wish I had plenty of fans for my music. Even one would be nice.

I had to settle for air conditioning too. Fortunately, it’s central whole house. Then you get to play between the diminished noise of the air blowing.

How about some babes in veils and Arabic Harem pants with some big feathers?

Naw. Just kiddin’.

Usually when a bunch of girls get together it’s a noisy gab fest.

This might be an alternative, but I can’t vouch for the noise. It might be cool though. 8)

Good luck on your search for a solution, Adnan2811, and welcome.

PS BMW-KTM and Arjay. I caught the tag line after I wrote this. You may (or maybe not) be right. I have no need for a Designer Ceiling fan.
