Great list so far!

But why hasn't anyone mentioned "I made it through the rain" by Barry Manilow?

I'M KIDDING!!!

Have You Ever Seen the Rain -- CCR

Stormy Weather -- Billie Holiday among others. (Co-written by Harold Arlen who wrote some of the 20th century's greatest songs.)

Take care and stay safe, man. I live on the barrier islands on Florida's Gold Coast. I'm sure my turn is coming soon.

You take care and stay safe too! Looks like you're going to get hit by this storm worse than I am. I'm on one of the barrier islands on the Gulf Coast... thankfully for me the mandatory evacuation order was lifted this morning.

Looks like we're OK here. The sun is peeking through between feeder bands. Had a couple of tornadoes touch down on the other side of town, but no one was hurt. The company I work for announced a noon opening. I drove the 36 mi only to find they changed their minds and closed for the day. Not sure whether I'm happy or angry.

How about this one?

"She's Like the Wind" by Patrick Swayze.

This one's a two-fer because the song really blows.

On a non-song note, will the rain help the drought in Atlanta?

I haven't heard anything about that in months and months.

Wasn't Atlanta almost out of water?
