I love my Heritage 550, both yours look like outstanding examples. Congrats on a very fine addition to the family!

The 550... isn't that the True Hollow Body... like the ES330?

It takes some SERIOUS Chops to make Heavenly Noise from that... !!

If the Universe grants me the Days, I hope someday to become Worthy !!

cheers... !!
More like the ES275...It nearly plays itself, it came to me that way. Very low action, updated Schaller adjustable roller bridge.

Simply Beautiful... !!

Beautiful guitar, congratulations! I love that vintage cherry sunburst, and no doubt it's a real player.

Rock on with your bad self! \m/

Congrats on a beautiful guitar. Having grown up in the shadows of 225 Parsons the place is somewhat hallowed ground. After many years overseas a friend and I went down to the Heritage Factory and asked for a tour. Expecting to be show the door, but no quite the opposite. Ren Wall graciously gave us the full tour including many stories about the equipment used, carving machines, templates and jigs, etc. The factory floor smelled of freshly carved wood, and surprisingly only a handful of craftsman. We watched as one of them was carving a top out of spruce, truely inspiring to see. Ren then took us upstairs to the set up room where he demonstrated their final assembly and set up procedures. The entire time he was telling us stories of days gone past and how he really felt about the craftsmanship of guitar making and it was evidenced by just how perfect each guitar he set up was. It was a great experience, and if the chance ever comes up for the right Heritage guitar, I would not hesitate to grab one. Again congrats on a rare and very nice guitar.

Very nice! I love when NGDs come with a good story . My '79 SG Standard -- per the s/n -- was built at the Kalamazoo plant, so I am a believer!!!
