some bands on classic rock stations are getting too overplayed

I'm a proud Led Zeppelin fan but they are just too overplayed, along with Lynyrd Skynyrd

My local radio station plays AC/DC at least once an hour. It's usually only 5 different songs a day too. This is most likely why I don't like most of the their stuff lately (especially the ones on the radio, the others aren't as bad because I don't hear them every half hour)

i wouldn't really consider these bands classic rock but they are defiantly overplayed.

Yeah, I like his hat. I think he must've 'borrowed' it from SRV-or Zorro, I'm not sure.

His guitars are handy around a campfire, especially when you've run out of wood. See Harmony Central for reviews. 8)

Seriously and jokes aside, 'classic rock' stations only have so much material to play with-and that's their fault. It's not like they're 'AOR' (Album Oriented Rock) stations, like FM radio used to be back in the '70's. Those were the days of free-wheeling programming! Next to college stations, that is.

Ding - Ding - Ding We have a winner!!! Yes, you are sooooooooooooo right. How has Bon Jovi had a career so long???? We should have been dismissed from having to hear Bon Jovi back in 1989. This is also the answer to the "most over-rated guitar player" thread that is owned by Richie "where's my spray-on tan can?" Sambora.

I refer to one of the classic rock stations down here in S. Florida as the Pink Floyd station. There was a long stretch where everytime I hit that button on the car radio Pink Floyd was playing. It was uncanny.

When I listened to terrestrial radio, there was alot of Led Zeppelin being played. Also alot of AC/DC and Rush.

I could go a few years without hearing Heart's "Barracuda." Those video games ruined it, and now it's everywhere.
