Obviously I'm a fan of the electric guitar. I'll go with that, but a lot of the others sound quite nice in general, I just don't play them.

I play some bass... I own a Music Man Stingray (4 string)
I also play acoustic guitar, alot (i love my Martin).
With that said, to me, electric guitar is definately the most
vivid, colorful, animated, & dynamic of all stringed intruments.

Can you imagine music without electric guitar?
It was't long ago in history, there were NO electric guitars!!!

We have 173,598 registered users, but I'd be surprised to see any change from the early voting.

The electric guitar is available in so many flavours and is capable of so many kinds of music...

...really makes one wonder if there is a realistic single-musical-instrument contender for pure capability and flexibility.

I'm the only one so far but I picked the piano as I would love to know how to play one. I believe it helps you in undrestanding all aspects of music theory. IMHO!
